Personalized and customized is the Matchmaker Covering the Ozarks®, Debra Schilling Smith’s philosophy when it comes to her customers and the real estate company she represents. Debra is a full-service Real Estate Professional located in the OZARKS and is licensed in Arkansas and Missouri.  Whether you are buying or selling, Debra is transparent with her clients and shares great enthusiasm about the real estate profession. She enjoys helping families with their largest investment, their home. She is a full-time REALTOR® and has received the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) endorsement from the National Association of REALTORS®. Debra is one of the 2% of nationwide real estate professionals who has continued their education and has achieved elite rank of: Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®), Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS®), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE®), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA®),  Military Relocation Professional (MRP®), and who capably represents buyers and sellers in making the right decisions for themselves.

In 2016, this Illinois native and New Orleans transplant, purchased the family home overlooking beautiful Bull Shoals Lake. Her Bull Shoals Lake roots go deep because of her personal knowledge of this region due to 40-year summer, fall, winter and spring visits to her family here in the Ozarks. The next time you visit the Ralph Foster Museum at the College of the Ozarks in Hollister, Missouri, be sure to look for an exhibit on the second floor featuring her grandfather’s Winchester Rifle! Debra has embraced living in the Ozarks and has fully immersed herself into the Ozark communities and cultures she serves. Debra introduced the TASTE OF NEW ORLEANS to Ozark County which is now an annual event held on the last Saturday in February. She offers competent, reliable, comprehensive service for real estate and possesses a passion for people to fulfill their real estate needs, with an emphasis on the counties of Ozark, Douglas, Howell, & Taney (MO) and Marion, Baxter, Fulton, & Boone (AR). 

Debra is married to her best friend, Gary Smith. They are the proud parents of three Doxies; Fritz, Freddy & Chloe. Debra’s son Luke & fur baby Kingsley currently living Protem; stepmom to Laura [Helen], and Nicholas & his wife, Amanda [Cameron & Wesley] living in New Orleans metro areas.

Debra is active in her local church, Ozark County Chamber of Commerce and Theodosia Area Wide Chamber of Commerce. She is also a lifetime member of Worldwide Association of Female Professionals. Active member of Women’s Council of REALTORS®, Land Trust of Louisiana, Ozark Regional Land Trust, Ozark Heritage Garden Club, and Ozark County Historical Society. Debra enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, canoeing, traveling, eating out, helping others, and a host of other activities.
